It was a quiet weekend at Away -
Greg's shoulder is still recuperating from his last skiing mishap,
so it seemed like a good time to take our skis in for a good tuning.
Anyway - it's Monday - again
Another Superbowl has come and gone,
and although I lost interest during the power outage -
I know I have some family members (traitors that they are) who are feeling very happy today.
Sooooo - I'm wishing them a fond congratulations!
But I digress,
Monday is time for Barn Charm.
My find for this week is actually pretty large by Vermont standards.
It even has silos.
another handsome model.
Hey there, cutie!
I'm wishing you all a great week!

It's a rarity around these parts to actually see ANIMALS around the barn! Great find! If you sit and stare at the silos for a few minutes, they start to look like eyes....and smiling eyes on top of that! That is one very happy barn!
ReplyDeletethat really is a big old barn & what a beauty it is, too. i love all the animals all around the barnyard.

Very nice barn! Your cute little model has some little horns coming along!
ReplyDeleteAwww chickens too. Neat old barn. Nice it is still in use. MB
ReplyDeleteGreat silos!
ReplyDeleteThe chickens remind me of being at my Grandma's. I hated going in the coop.:)
Wishes for your hubby's quick recovery.
oh this is a nice one! love that barn and the cute little guy and chickies make it even batter!
ReplyDeleteI have never seen two silos so close together like that.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I love the shot with the cow and chickens! I'd love to be right there in the middle of all of them :)
ReplyDeleteWell that's a gorgeous barn and perfect scenery to match! Love the little chickens. Glad your husband's shoulder is better.
ReplyDeleteThis barn has a lot of charm, Karen, sadly lacking in those spotted here on the VA eastern shore. We skipped the Super Bowl extravaganza in favor of a Cary Grant film. Hope Greg's shoulder is on the mend.
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower. You had me at New England. And then you had me at Old Barns. I'm a Maine Gal and we just bought a Maine Farmhouse with a gorgeous barn. Here's our barn...http://bornambitous-bornimaginative.blogspot.com/2012/12/barn-tour-free-of-charge.html
ReplyDeleteI'm always amazed at how the barnyard animals try to stare you down.
