Driving through the countryside, we found this building next door to a quilt shop in Londonderry, Vermont.
This sighting required another quick u-turn.
the weathered wood, the water wheel, the stone wall and metal roof,
not to mention the beautiful setting.
The quilt shop next door is worth a visit too!

ReplyDeleteVery neat find! I have to agree with you, the colors and textures are great. I wonder waht the story behind it is.
ReplyDeleteI so agree! Looks like it must have been a working mill at one time. Love that dark weathered wood and the multiple-paned windows. The quilt square is a perfect addition and makes this scene all the more charming.
ReplyDeleteI would have turned around too! Love it!
ReplyDeleteWow -- the colors are so rich. Wonderful capture Karen.
ReplyDeleteVery, very nice, but in need for some serious work. If it was in my back yard, I would convert it into living quarters!
