Last weekend we woke to a light snowfall.

and we headed over to Weston, Vermont.
This little town of 650 or so residents is about 10 parts quaint -

with just enough quirky thrown in to make it quintessentially Vermont.
"THE" Vermont Country Store is located here.
A lot touristy, but also a lot of fun -
even for non-shoppers like Greg.

Real country stores can be found throughout the state;
serving as the heart of their village, much as they have been for many years.
But my favorite part of the day -
the horses -
after chasing them all over the village, I finally managed to catch up to them.

This would be a "dream" trip for me! I adore the close up of the horse - just look at those eyelashes! Thanks so much for sharing part of your world!

Such stunning wanting scenery. there's one thing to be same for tiny city. i might like to visit there sometime shortly. i really like the image of the county store with the European elk outside! seems like you had a good time, and therefore the horses area unit nice to.
