I don't know what it is about Adirondack chairs, but they always make me want to slow down.
Walking from one meeting to another, yesterday
- the red chairs on the other side of the fence made me pause -
and smile.
And - the sunshine didn't hurt, either.
I'm joining Theresa for Good Fences
I wish you a wonderful day!
neat. i'd want to sit a spell, too. thanks, karen!
ReplyDeleteme too but they are uncomfortable for me and forget about trying to get out of them. i'm not that heavy and i have to rock!!!!
ReplyDelete"rock to get out of one"!! my mind said it but my hands did not type it!!!!
DeleteGreat pic . . . love the red, always look comfy to see, but I find them not comfy to sit in.
ReplyDeleteAnd getting up and out, not a pretty sight while wearing a skirt . . .
Just sayin'
Those chairs always do look inviting. Love the color of them.
ReplyDeleteThose are neat chairs. You usually don't see them in red.
ReplyDeleteI'll bet you wanted to plop yourself right down into one of them, too! They're wonderful.
ReplyDeleteOur friends have the most wonderful Adirondack chairs at their cottage. Glen wants some so bad for around our fire pit. I told him we could get some as soon as we re-do the patio and fire pit. That will not happen this fall. So maybe next Spring.
ReplyDeleteAdirondack chairs have magic powers, I swear! Anytime I walk past one, I just have to sit a bit + enjoy the view. The sunshine is always an added bonus :)
ReplyDeletethey were calling to you to come sit a spell! I think they are so comfortable!
ReplyDeleteI feel the same about Adirondack chairs! I have two red ones in my garden and one green - and I love to sit out there and watch the birds. Beautiful shot!
ReplyDeleteI love Adirondack chairs. They were calling you to go over to sit for a spell.
ReplyDeleteNice capture on the red chairs, and it seems relaxing to make feel anyone the same. But sat in and out seems difficult and obviously not my kind of chair!
ReplyDeleteThat makes me want to paint mine red! So pretty.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful little spot of peace in a busy place!
ReplyDeletei'd hang out with you in one of those!
ReplyDeleteHi Karen Now that looks like a great place to relax. I have now safely arrived back from 6 weeks away so have LOTS of editing to do!! Thanks for looking in on my posts while I was away and commenting. I appreciate that very much.
ReplyDeleteYou are right- they are very uncomfortable, but so durn neat looking. I like the old time metal chairs that you used to see on everyone's front porch. Now a couple of those painted red- yea!
