grafton covered bridge

Did I hear somewhere that tomorrow is the first day of Spring?
Hmmmm
I found this little bridge in Grafton, VT -
and a very quaint place to visit...

It doesn't look much like Spring here,

but truth be told - I'm hoping for one more weekend on the ski slopes
Then...
70 degrees and sunny - all the time

But the reflection in this puddle reminds me -
in Vermont, Mud Season comes before Spring
- no matter what the calendar says.

Has Spring sprung where you are?

  1. Oh I know what you mean, mud season is definitely before spring, especially during sugaring time.

  8. Love the covered bridge! It is still a wee bit chilly here, we get some slightly warmer days filled with sunshine. The trees are just starting to bud, the crocuses, snow drops and now daffodils are coming up now.

  11. Beautiful covered bridge - we don't have them out here - I miss them. We still have lots of snow in the higher elevations, but we are just below that and enjoying daffodils and very early spring blooms. Enjoy your ski time! xo Karen

  23. I'm pleased the base of this bridge looks sturdier than the covering.... Covered bridges are something we don't have in Australia but they sure look awesome.
