random five - misty mountain and sunshine

I do believe - the colors have been spectacular this year


even shrouded in mist.

A couple of weeks ago, I was nominated for a Sunshine Award by a phenomenal blogger - 
I love visiting Sarah's blog, where she and her paisley rain boots
(well, when weather calls for them)
explore the hidden and not-so-hidden back roads of Michigan.
She has an artistic flair for seeing places and objects from a different angle and capturing them with her camera. If you've never visited before - click on over!

So - for this week's random five, I've chosen five of Sarah's questions to answer.

1) Favorite Movie? - When Harry Met Sally (corny, I know...)

2) Coffee or Tea? - Both! Coffee in the morning, tea in the afternoon

3) Favorite Weekend Activity? - going AWAY, of course :-)

4) What decade would you have most liked to have lived in? - the next five or ten (life is much too short!)

5) Thing that you are most proud of accomplishing this year? - oh boy, I'm coming up blank and it's October already. May I have an extension, please?

    I think it is more that you have too many things to be proud of accomplishing this year that you can't pick just one. Thank you for the lovely words. We are fellow explorers :)

    Congratuations :-), Sarah does have a super blog. I agree with 1 and 2, 3 I like to have people in or and take extended day trips. 4. I have often wondered what it would have been like when my ancestors roamed and established tee pees in and around my home town. 5. I need an extentionsion too.

    Yes, I agree the colors are lovely this year. We are just reaching peak here in southern Maine. Harry Met Sally is classic. How could you not love it!

    gorgeous shot ... wonderful color and i don't know why, but a photo with a horse is almost always a favorite of mine ... must be the girl and a horse *thing*!!! fun answers -- i like Harry Met Sally, too and I'm a tea drinker. have a great week.

    that movie is great. i love to laugh. funny how you can watch it again after so many years & see how the characters have so changed. now it makes me wish to pull out my videos & watch it again this weekend. meg ryan & billy crystal are a good pair together for movies. have a good one. ( :

    Beautiful photo! Captures the fall colors and light perfectly. When Harry Met Sally is one of my favorites, too. I just re-watched part of it recently. I've seen it so many times.

    My favorite decade is right now, too.

    Wow wow wow! That first shot is just gorgeous. The colors are amazing! I hope the leaves here look that pretty soon. We're still green! And I'm for both coffee and tea. Coffee in the morning, sweet tea with dinner at night :)

    Simply Stunning photo today. The colors back there are awesome.
    Fun reading your random facts about yourself. - We Harry Met Sally is a funny movie. I suppose most notably for the, "I'll Have What She's Having." line!
    I like both Coffee and Tea as well.
