watery wednesday - boston public garden

A winter visit to the Boston Public Garden

In the summer, when the Swan boats are out and the flowers are in bloom,
this is a popular destination for residents and tourists, alike.

It's a bit more serene during the winter months.

As a side note,
does anyone know how to make the web view the default on an iPad?
I could rant on and on about how annoyed I am that the default has changed to the mobile view.
Sheesh - you really don't want me to get started...
If anyone knows - I'd really appreciate the tips - thanks!

Thanks for dropping in!

  4. If this comes through 2x please excuse! Have you gone to dashboard - template - disable mobile? Also, I list no mobile device on my computer. Love the night photo. I enjoy botanic gardens in the winter because there are no crowds and still many beautiful/interesting things to photograph.

    1. Thanks - this seems to work sporadically - which I guess is better than not at all.

Love the Boston pics. I haven't been there since I was 15. Maybe one day I'll get to take the boys.

  11. Hello, I am a first time visitor who dropped in from Mildred's Maple Lane blog and so enjoyed the photos as we enjoy New England and hoping to relocate there (when our VA house sells). I have the same problem with blogs defaulting to a web view on my iPad and while annoying I don't know how to change it, but perhaps an online search would be helpful...I have just been too lazy to check it out. Please do feel free to drop on for a visit to our blog anytime as we always enjoy and welcome back door visitors.
