watery wednesday - wanna get away?


We found this little getaway last summer
somewhere off the coast of Gloucester, Massachusetts


The hermit in me absolutely adores this little place
- but -
the part of me with motion sickness issues - not so much.



Doesn't it kind of make you wonder, though?

    it IS adorable! i would think the wave action would be pretty bad, though! :)

    Wow - now THIS is something you don't see every day. As long as the water is calm I can imagine this being a rather tranquil getaway!

    A wonderful floating house? Would I like to be in it just for a day? Yes, but I am afraid of water

    I love these pictures a lot. I have never seen such an interesting cute house.

    i would love to see it inside. neat!! a floating house would really come in handy. think of all the places you could visit & see. love it!! sign me up!! great find. wonder how steady & practical they are??!!! ( :

    It does make me wonder--especially seeing the boat moored in the middle of the water too, but not up by the house. Seems like there might be some transportation issues here....

    isn't it a lil top heavy to be floating freely out on the water? seems like any kind of wave at all would topple it over! yikes!
    it IS awful cute, tho... wonder what it cost to build...

    So cute and charming! I'd love to spend time in there. Although I think motion sickness would get the best of me. But it might be worth it ;)
